Every year we celebrate 15 October as “World Student’s Day”. It marks the birthday of A.P.J. Abdul Kalam who is also known as the Missile Man of India.
In 2010, the United Nations declared 15 October as the “World Student’s Day” to honour Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam as his role of a teacher. He inspired with his life and quotes the students round the world. Despite being born in a very poor family and facing hardships, he never lost hope and achieved success in academics as well politics too. He held the highest constitutional post of the Republic of India by serving as its President.
Kalam always inspired youth and motivated them with his speeches. He reached all the students of the India whether they were in remote village or in towns. He was a remarkable scientist, a philosopher and a great teacher.
World Student’s day is not only celebrated in India but across the globe. He always believed that students are the future of any nation and can bring a great change to a society of well educated and nurtured well.
