2020 Nobel Prize to three in Medicines for Hepatitis C Virus discovery
2020 Nobel prize is awarded jointly to the three physicians for Medicine.
The three physicians are Harvey J Alter, Charles M Rice and Scientist Michael Houghton. The first two are of American region while Houghton is of British origin.
They received this award for the discovery of the Hepatitis C virus.
The head of the Nobel committee, Thomas Perlmann awarded them with this award in a ceremony held at Stockholm.
