Actress Asha Parekh receives Dadasaheb Phalke Award

Renowned actress Asha Parekh to be honored with Dadasaheb Phalke Award by President Draupadi Murmu on 30th September, 2022
The 68th National Film Awards will be given on that day. This information was given by Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur.
Parekh will be given this honor for her career in film industry spanning almost more than three decades.
She has been selected for this honor by a committee constituted by the ministry. There are also well-known singer Asha Bhosle, MP and actress Hema Malini, actress Poonam Dhillon and singer Udit Narayan in this committee.
Asha Parekh career in Bolywood
Asha Parekh had started her film career at the age of just 10 years. She got her first chance in Film maker Vimal Roy’s film “Maa”. Asha Parekh has worked in more than 95 films so far.
Some of the famous blockbuster movies of Asha Parekh are: Jab Pyar kissi se Hota hai, Teesri Manzil, Aan Milo Sajna, Kati Patang, Love in Tokyo, Do Badan, Main Tulsi Tere Angan ki.
