Indian cricket team proved itself correct again in the battlefield of cricket. Dhoni’s new brigade is ready to play under extreme conditions, no matter what the biggest score the opponent has made and how tough the opposite team is.

But in today’s match, it was Suresh Raina’s not – out inning of 110 runs in 104 balls and captain’s 85 runs  that made India win its 10th consecutive match in World Cup 2015.

With this win, Indian champions have finished all six matches in Group-B league matches. Now they have only Australia in front of the way to make record, who won 24 straight wins between 1999 and 2011 editions, under Ricky Ponting captaincy.

India’s next match is with Bangladesh in the Quarter Final, that will be held on March 19 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

India’s batting opening was not so good and it lost four of its crucial wickets under 100 runs only.  India had lost four wickets at 92 runs. India’s best openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan went to pavilion very early making 16 and 4 runs respectively.

When Dhoni Joined Raina on ground then the score was only 92, will mutual understanding and team work the two played well and did not take breath till the end, and made unbeatable 196 runs for the fifth wicket off 156 balls. Raina completed his fifth century in ODI with nine fours and four sizes.

India has played six matches so far in this world cup 2015, and has taken all 10 wickets of the opposite teams.

The captain again played anchor in the crucial match like he did in the last match against West-Indies and made 57th ODI half century with the help of eight boundaries and two sixes.

It was Dhoni’s six that he made in the end, that triggered happiness in the dressing room and players hugged each other and shaked hands to congratulate each others.

The match was important for Zimbabwe also as it was the last ODI for Brendon Taylor and they wanted to give him farewell with victory. Taylor  made 138 which helped the team raising score of 287 in 48.5 hours all out.

Zimbabwe made 287 runs, which is the highest score raised by any country in current world cup session.
