Should I use Ghee or Oil to lit a Lamp?
One can lit lamp in oil or ghee. Generally, the use of oil is more prevalent than that of Ghee due to the cost factor, ease of availability. Also, oil lamps kindle longer than ghee lamps.
Ghee(clarified butter) is considered better for lightning lamp rather than oil. Cow’s milk ghee is the best to reap benefits of lighting lamps, as the cow is revered as Saatvik soul. Ghee is more capable to attract and reciprocate the Sattvik or positive vibrations present in the surrounding atmosphere. Ghee disperses its aroma in the air quickly and purifies it off microbes.
