Rajpath is a path that runs from Rashtrapati Bhawan which is on Raisaina hill through Vijay Chowk and India Gate.
Rajpath was formerly known as Kingsway and keeps a very historic significance in the history of Delhi.
In the AmritMahotsav of 75 years of India’s Independence it has been decided that the name Rajpath to be replaced wtih Kartavyapath. As per the new changes, the entire road and the area covering from the Netaji statue at India Gate to eh Rashtrapati Bhawavn woul dbe known as Kartavyapath.
