His ancestral home is also here. His grandfather Pandit Bhagwan Das Garg (Setu Lal) also lived here.

Dhirendra Krishna Maharaj has a young brother whose name is Shaligram Garg Ji Maharaj who is also dedicated to Balaji Bageshwar Daham.
The financial condition of the family was very bad due to Dhirendra’s father not doing anything. They would survive without food for many days and would live in a small kutcha house which used to leak during the rainy days.

Dhirendra Krishna got his early education from the government school in the village itself.
He got his education up to class VIII from his village, after which he had to go to school in Ganj, 5 km away for further studies. Due to financial constraints, he used to travel 5 kilometers on foot every day. He completed his 12th standard education from this school in this only.
He completed his Bachelor of Arts but due to financial lack and devotion and faith in religion, he left his studies in between.
