Mehr Tarar to be questioned on Sunanda Pushkar death case
onThe case of mysterious death of former Union Minister Shashi Tharoor’s wife is under trial and in the recent progress, police is going to question Pakistani Journalist, Mehr Tarar.
Delhi Police Chief, BS Bassi told on Thursday that, an official communique will be issued soon.
He said, “If required, Shashi Tharoor will be questioned again”. He also said, “We have asked the FBI to expedite the process of sending viscera report”.

The dead body of 52 years old Sunanda Pushkar was found her in her suit at a five star hotel, Leela in South Delhi on the night of January 17, 2004. It is recorded that a day before her death, she was involved in a spat and twitter fight with Pakistani Journalist, Mehr Tarar on social networking website, twitter over the latter’s alleged affair with Shashi Tharoor.
Special Investigation Team(SIT) has till now questioned at least 15 people including Tharoor, their staff members and close friends. Moreover, the staff of Leela Hotel has also been questioned so far.
The Police interrogated Sunanda’s son Shiv Menon on the relationship between the couple. He was quizzed on February 5 and the meeting went on to for 8 hours. Prior to him, Police had questioned Samajwadi Party Leader, Amar Singh and two Journalists – Rahul Kanwal and Nalini Singh.
