Early Life of Atlas Ramachandran

MM Ramchandran was also known by Atlas Ramachandran since when he opened Atlas Jewellery Store. He was born in Kerala’s thrissur district in the year 1942.

Starting Career of Ramachandran

He started his career in banking industry and joined Canara Bank. Ramachandran completed his post graduation from Delhi School of Economics.

After completion of post graduation he was selected as a probationary officer by the State Bank of India.

By the time MM Ramachandran left the bank, he was the superintendent of over 100 branches. He moved to Kuwait city to work for the Commercial Bank of Kuwait in 1974.

Opening of Atlas Jewellery store

MM Ramachandran opened his first ATLAS Jewellery showroom in Souk Al Watya in Kuwait. He had different sense of advertising his business for Jewellery that he started. He would often feature in the advertisement and deliver a punch line “Atlas Jewellery, the trusted name of crores of people”.

Ramachandran as Producer

Atlas Ramchandran was the producer of much popular malyalam movies Vaishali and Surutham. Ramachandran had produced and distributed films under the banner “Chandrakanth Films”.

Death of MM Ramachandran

Atlas Ramachandran suffered a cardiac arrest on 02 October, 2022 in a hospital in Dubai. He could not be survived and died in the hospital at the age of 80.
