6 New Rules Changes to See in 2023

Calendar has changed from 2022 to 2023 and also would change some of the rules followed on daily basis. These are:
1. NPS Partial Withdrawn
Partial withdraw from NPS rules would changes from 1 January 2023. Now the approval would need from the Nodal officer. PFRDA had given some relaxation during COVID to withdraw some amount from NPS account which would not be accepted now without permission.
2. Bank is Answerable now
If anything happens to the jewellery or users assets kept in the bank locker, bank would be held responsible for the same. But if the damage is causes due to some natural reasons like earthquakes or customer’s mistake, banks would not be responsible.
3. Expensive Refrigerator, Fans
From 1 January 2023, there are some changes in the criteria fixed for Bureau of Energy Efficiency(BEE). With the implementation of these new changes there would be 2% to 3% increase in the cost of ceiling fans/refrigerators.
Fans would also come under star labelling rules now due to which the cost would be impacted.
4. Strictness on Plastic Bags
From January 1 2023 there is complete ban on the plastic bags which have micron value from 120 or lesser than that. Currently plastic bags with 75 micron values have a ban.
5. No Diesel Registration in Delhi-NCR
From 1 January 2023 there would not be any diesel auto registration any more. Only CNG and Electric autos would be registered. This would be effective in complete Delhi NCR region.
6. Only Approved Fuel
In NCR only approved fuel would be used only from 1 January 2023. The standard list of approved fuel is already listed on caqm.nic.in.
