Recipe of Soya Chaap

  1. First of all cut the soya chunks into the desred size as per your requirement which is normally 1 to 1.5 inches.
  2. After this, finely chop tomatoes, ginger, green chilies etc. separately.
  3. Put a little cooking oil in the vessel placed in the oven on low flame.
  4. When the oil is hot, put the chopped soya chunks in it and cook till its color turns brown.
  5. After frying, place the soya chunks on a towel paper. This paper absorbs the excess oil present in the soya chunk. Add cumin seeds to the remaining oil in the pot.
  6. After this add turmeric powder, asafoetida, coriander powder and other mentioned spices in it and fry it.
  7. After the above spices are fried, again add tomato, ginger paste, onion, chilli etc. and leave it to cook for some time.
  8. When the masala is cooked, oil starts coming out from its side. On seeing this, understand that the masala is cooked.
  9. After this add garam masala and cream, and keep stirring it till the masala starts boiling lightly.
  10. After this, add half a cup of water to it and wait until it starts boiling slowly. Now add chopped coriander and salt as required. Also at the same time add soya chunks to it.
  11. After this, cover the curry and leave it on low flame for some time. In no time your delicious soya chaap gravy will be ready.
  12. Put it in any other vessel and serve it as per requirement for yourself and your loved ones.
