Virat Kohli and Smriti Mandhana Awarded with BCCI Award
onCricketer Virat Kohli received “Polly Umrigar Award” award in the BCCI Award ceremony held in Bengaluru for the year 2016-17 and 2017-18.
The current Indian cricket team captain, Virat Kohli has given some consistent best performances in the past, He scored 1332 run in 13 matches in the year 2016-17 with an average of 74 runs. While, in 2017-18 he made runs with an average of 89.6 in test matches and 75 in One day matches.
In the same award ceremony, Smriti Mandhana who is Female Indian cricket team player was also bestowed with the international cricketer of the year 2017-18. Harmanpreet Kaur received the player of the year for her performance in the 2016-17 season.
Many other players like Krunal Pandya, Parvez Rasool, Jalaj Saxena were also awarded for their contribution and best performances.
