Joe Biden was giving his speech about democracy and the threat of political violence a heckler present there started shouting at Joe Biden, “Let’s, go Brandon”.

Hearing this Biden said, “Throughout our history, America’s often made the greatest progress coming out of some of our darkest moments, like you’re hearing that bullhorn. They are entitled to be outrageous, this is a democracy. Good manners is not something they have ever suffered from.”

A heckler repeatedly shouted “Let’s go, Brandon” at US President Joe Biden during his primetime address, as he spoke about democracy and the threat of political violence.

As Biden made his speech, someone shouted “Let’s go, Brandon” over and over again.

Addressing the heckler, Biden said: “Throughout our history, America’s often made the greatest progress coming out of some of our darkest moments… like you’re hearing that bullhorn.”

He later said: “They are entitled to be outrageous, this is a democracy. Good manners is not something they have ever suffered from,” and the crowd cheered.

When someone has to insult in republic in US, he uses this phrase “Let’s go, Brandon”. It’s a kind of code that people use to insult Joe Biden.

It’s not the first time that someone has used this code, infact many similar instances have happened in the past one year.

Not only normal people but high profile republican figures have also been using this.

Similar instance happened in October 2021, when Bill Posey of Florida ended his house floor speech by saying in the end, “Let’s go, Brandon”.

Similar thing was said by South Carolina Republican Jeff Duncan when he wore a face mask with the phrase, “Let’s go Brandon”.

Similarly Ted Cruz has posted with a sign of “Let’s go Brandon”.
