What should I eat post heavy workout?

With dreams of getting physique perfect body people start doing heavy workout at home. They forget that doing more than required without diet control can be more harmful than it does any good.
If you are doing heavy workout but not taking proper diet before, between and after it, that would cost you more on your health.
During workouts there is a loss of muscles which need to be repaired otherwise you would feel dizzy or may loss conscious too.
So, in this post we are going to tell you about few of the food items that you can take to maintain your muscle loss and get fit body with workout.

- You can take quinoa which is again a rich source of protein, carbohydrates and fiber. You can have it in the form of a pudding.
- Eat sweet potatoes, unlike normal potatoes they help in weight loss and increase metabolism.
- Add whole grain cereals in your diet which are good source of potassium, fiber, protein etc.
- You can take dark chocolates which have 40% less calories than normal chocolates. Just remember the more the darker the better it helps in weight loss and prevents weight gain.
- Add Cottage Cheese and Greek yoghurt as they are rich in calcium and protein.
- Peanut butter is a good option to have for protein. You can use them as spread on your toast or in making recipes.
- If you are a non-vegetarian you can have fish, turkey or chicken.
- Tofu is highly rich food in calcium and protein compared to normally cheese. So you can have that but some people have allergy with tofu so you can first have that in little quantity to check for any such reactions.
- Add flex seeds, avocado, sunflower oil, coconut oil in your daily diet to have healthy fats. Healthy fats help to burn the bad fat and prevent weight gain.
- Add lot of nuts in your diet to make up nutrient loss during workout. Also drink lots of water to make up loss of water during workouts in the form of sweats.
- Eat a lot of broccoli which is a rich source of protein. You can just boil it and sprinkle with little salt and black pepper and eat it.
